Current clients: Basset Flooring's Abbey Carpet, BiteFX, Elite Feet, Far West Skiing, GSS Ski Pros, HD96, Murrayhill Eye Care, and Lake of the Sky Garden Club. Past clients: 3Com, Adobe Systems, Apple Computer, Quantum, Regis McKenna, Inc., Netswork, Inc., Smith & Jones Marketing, Squaw Creek Resort, Squaw Valley USA, Sugar Bowl Academy and Ski Team, and Tahoe Rim Trail.

July 1996 to March 1998
Creative Director for Quantum Corporation, a widely recognized industry leader that supplies a broad range of information storage products worldwide for personal computers, workstations, high-end computers, network servers, and disk arrays. Responsibilities included development and management of Quantum's Creative Services Group—establishment of the Quantum brand, ingredient brand; design of retail packaging, and marketing communications material. 

February 1995 to June 1996
Creative Director for Apple Internet Studio and Productions, and Apple eWorld Creative Services; responsible for the graphic design and overall look and feel of eWorld and market specific web sites. Work included the following webcasts and web sites: The Plan, Metallica, Tomorrow's Cities, Always Apple, and the Apple Internet Connection Kit. Other work included the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference webcast, eWorld building interior redesign, eWorld on the Web, WebCity, the Learning Community on the web, and eWorld marketing material consisting of packaging, collateral, and public relations templates.

January 1993 to February 1995
Senior Art Director for Apple Corporate Identity and Design. From July 1993 to July 1994. Sole Art Director and acting Creative Director for Apple's Packaging Group, responsible for all color retail boxes, including Newton, the New Media group packaging system, QuickTake, eWorld, and various software boxes. Design and production of the 1993 Apple Annual Report.

June 1991 to January 1993
Contract Art Director and Designer for Apple Creative Services. Work included the Macintosh Quadra and PowerBook brochures, the Educator's Advantage catalog, the Apple Learning Review newsletters, the Apple Packaging Guidelines, Newton and NewtonMail collateral, the Apple Multimedia Program collateral and packaging, PowerBook posters, and video packaging.

September 1981 to January 1993
Owner of PR Design, a graphic design company specializing in corporate design, including collateral, packaging, product and company identities, and event materials. Clients included Apple Computer, Tandem, and Adobe Systems.

January 1989 to June 1991
Creative Director for Regis McKenna Inc., a marketing and communications company in Palo Alto, California. Managed the Graphic Design Group (GDG), an in-house design department. Supervised four designers, who worked primarily on the Macintosh, designing collateral, product identities, posters, and presentation graphics; including animation projects using MacroMind Director. Clients included Apple, Xerox, HP, 3Com, National Semiconductor, x/Open, and PacBell.

July 1978 to September 1981
Art Director for Regis McKenna Advertising in Palo Alto, California. Responsibilities included art direction, design, and production for seven full-time clients, including Apple, Intel, Siliconix, and Gould/Biomation.

June 1977 to July 1978
Graphic Designer for Roy Ritola and Associates, a design firm in San Francisco. Responsibilities included design and production of product brochures and packaging for Testor's Toys.

January 1977 to June 1977
Senior Art Director for Phil Motta and Associates Advertising in Phoenix, Arizona.

June 1976 to Dember 1976
Assistant Art Director for Bozell and Jacobs Advertising in Phoenix, Arizona.

Education
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California.

Computer Expertise
Extensive knowledge and skill using QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator, in addition to experience working with other Macintosh and PC software applications.

Recognition
Published in The Book of American Trademarks, by David E. Carter, 1981. Work displayed in the Western Art Directors Portfolio Show. Received the Award of Excellence in the Strathmore Graphics Gallery in 1989. Published in MacWEEK. Received an American Trademarks award in 1990 for a logo design, and an American Corporate Identity award in 1991 for a letterhead design. Received an AIGA Certificate of Excellence in 1992, and an Art Direction Magazine Certificate of Distinction in 1993. In 1994 received the bronze award from the Paperboard Packaging Council for Apple PowerCD box.
